Betty, I'll always remember your enthusiasm and encouragement when teaching me to play the piano in the early 1990's, and our lovely friendship that followed, albeit long distance in recent years. You really were an inspiration to me. I'm sorry I can't be at the funeral - my thoughts are with your beautiful daughters, Jane, Claire and Sarah, and their lovely families, of whom you were so very proud.
